The Tennessee Titans will open up a new season on the road as they face the Pittsburgh Steelers in an NFL Pro Football game scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Locker completed 56.4% of his throws last season for 2176 yards with 10 touchdowns and 11 picks. In the backfield for Tennessee will be starter Chris Johnson a former Jet Shonn Greene the backup. Out wide are Kenny Britt, Kendal Wright and second round pick Justin Hunter out of Tennessee is looking to contribute early.
Tennessee finished off 2012 with a mark of 6-10 and missed the playoffs. The team went 4-4 at home. They were a bottom third team in the league in all four key areas offensively which are passing, rushing, scoring and total offense. As a result they have huge turnover to their offensive line. They were 32nd and last in the NFL in scoring defense by allowing 29.4 points per game. Teams threw for 248 yards against Tennessee for a 26th ranking in the league.
Veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger returns for Pittsburgh in 2013. In 2012 Big Ben played 13 games and hit on 63.3% of his throws for 3265 yards with 26 touchdowns and eight picks. The Steelers running attack was near the bottom of the league last year and return Isaac Redman and Johanthan Dwyer in the backfield. Pittsburgh drafts Michigan St running back Le’Veon Bell in the second round in hopes of major improvement. Their starting receivers are Antonio Brows and Emmanuel Sanders and pass catching tight end Heath Miller returns. Wide out Markus Wheaton a speedster was drafted third out of Oregon St. They lose impact stars in 2012 as wide out Mike Wallace and running back Rashard Mendenhall leave the team in free agency. On defense James Harrison is released.
Pittsburgh finished with a record of 8-8 and failed to make the playoffs. They lose three straight games late in the season to be eliminated from playoff consideration after week 16 wasting a 6-3 start to the season. The team sputtered on the ground in 2012 as the team ran for 96 yards per game ranking 26th in the league. Pittsburgh continued their elite status on defense finishing best in the NFL in both scoring and total defense and number two against the run.
