An insight into Myerscough College Basketball Academy.
Launched in September 2013, the Academy has a first year intake of 24 young basketball players aged between 16 and 19.
The Academy has teams competing in the national schools U17 and U18 competitions, the BCS (British Colleges Sport) North West Division, MABL (Manchester Area Basketball League) and the EABL (Elite Academy Basketball League).

With extensive links to universities both in the UK and America the academy has a vast array of options and exit routes available to its players.
Designed to provide students with the unique opportunity to live and train as professional athletes, the Myerscough Basketball Academy will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of the game, whilst studying towards academic qualifications that are designed to provide the ideal pathway to university level degree courses or the professional world of Basketball.
